History

Eye Center of Columbus, LLC has over 80 Ophthalmologists working together to provide quality eye care in central Ohio. The Eye Center brings together community ophthalmic resources in one technologically advanced facility. This focused approach to the care, treatment, and prevention of vision disorders will support the physicians in their goal to make The Eye Center a national Center of Excellence.

Eye Center of Columbus, LLC was developed in partnership with AMB Development Group, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare facility development.

Conceived by over thirty ophthalmologists representing more than ten practices located across Central Ohio, Eye Center coalesces community ophthalmic resources in one technologically advanced facility. This focused approach to the care, treatment, and prevention of vision disorders will support the physicians in their goal to make Eye Center of Columbus, LLC a national Center of Excellence.

Eye Center of Columbus, LLC was developed in partnership with AMB Development Group and Aspen Healthcare, both nationally recognized leaders in healthcare facility development and management. Nationwide Realty Investors, as the master developer for Columbus' Arena District, also assisted with the project.

Construction began on Eye Center of Columbus in late 2003 and the 120,000 square foot, five story building opened its doors in April 2005.
