Charlotte M. Agnone, MD, FACSDr. Agnone is a board-certified ophthalmologist and founder of the practice of Agnone, Morrison, & Associates, Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Inc, in Marysville, OH. She has focused on ophthalmology, as an eye physician and surgeon.
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at Ohio University in Athens, OH, Dr. Agnone obtained her medical degree from The Ohio State University, College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. She received the prestigious Department of Surgery Award for Outstanding Achievement in General Surgery, and Honors in the Departments of Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, General Surgery Research, and Plastic Surgery Research. She completed a combined general surgery and internal medicine internship (transition year) at Riverside Methodist Hospital (now Ohio Health) and residency training at The Ohio State University, Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Agnone received her Masters Degree from Harvard University in Boston, MA. She served as Emergency Room Physician for three years, and has been Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine for two decades. Since 2012, Dr. Agnone has been a clinical research sub investigator with Optimed Research, Ltd, in Columbus, OH. During her years in practice in Columbus and Marysville, Dr. Agnone, has served as Chairman of the Public Policy Committee of the Columbus Medical Association and a Member, Medical Society Alumni Awards Committee, The Ohio State University College of Medicine and School of Public Health, in Columbus, OH. Currently she is a Member, Board of Directors, Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, in Alexandria, VA. and is a Member, Board of Directors, The Ohio State University Hospitals, University Self Insurance Program, Columbus, OH. She was a Member, Medical School Admissions Committee, The Ohio State University College of Medicine and School of Public Health, in Columbus, OH. She is a past President of the Columbus Medical Association, an organization dedicated to supporting physicians in the health and healing of the community. Dr. Agnone had been elected by her peers as a Best Doctors in America® each year since 2011. She was elected Member of the prestigious Medical Review Club of Columbus, and served as the club’s president 2011-2013. Dr. Agnone has been an active volunteer with Surgical Eye Missions in Bolivia, Jamaica, Nicaragua, and Haiti, and has volunteered as part of several Medical Missions with Project Medishare, University of Florida serving in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Dr. Agnone has a passion for studying, advocating, and living the life-style changes that promote health, including healthy eating and appropriate exercise. Her interests outside of medicine include her family, traveling, exercising, and enjoying life. Jennifer A. Morrison MD, FACSDr. Morrison is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been in practice and co-owner at Agnone, Morrison, & Associates, Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Inc, in Marysville, OH, since 2002. She has focused on ophthalmology and eye surgery.
She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO, in three-and-a-half years and finished out that year performing research at Washington University Department of Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Morrison obtained her medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. She received honors in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine, and was co-chair for SLU medical school silent auction raising over $16,000 for student run free medical clinic in St. Louis. During her internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Dr. Morrison received the “Intern of the year” award. She completed her ophthalmology residency training at The Ohio State University where she received the Residency Research Award for Muscular Dystrophy research. Dr. Morrison has held several distinguished positions. She has served as Assistant Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University since 2002 and is also on staff at The Ohio State University. Dr. Morrison has been Vice Chair, Marysville, Ohio Medical Properties since 2016. She has served as Chairman and Vice Chair of Marysville, Ohio Surgical Center since 2008. She presently serves on the Board for the Union County Foundation in Marysville. Dr. Morrison received The Ohio State University Ambulatory Clerkship award for dedicated service in the College of Medicine educational programs in 2007, 2009, and 2013. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Member of the Columbus Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Association, and is on the staff at Memorial Health. Dr. Morrison has been a volunteer at the Columbus Free Clinic. She is married to a supportive husband who is a pediatrician in Columbus, Ohio. Her interests outside of medicine are a passion for her four children, running, and creating jewelry and art pieces, which she regularly donates to charitable causes.
